We have an amazing mature organic garden where we harvest fresh vegetables for our guests. The property bestows two acres trees and flowers galore throughout the walking paths. Get cozy by the multiple fire pits, play outdoor games, and relax in one of our many sitting areas. We consistently have wildlife visit us including peacocks, geese, raccoons, deer, squirrels, alpacas and more. Meditate under a blanket of stars cover the sky at night!

Your host and proprietor Leon J, National Heritage Blues Hall of Fame Performing Artist and Ambassador recognized for his Roots Blues and Delta infused historical American Acoustic Blues, country, and rock music showcase (The Americana Crossroads Music Review Tribute). Upon acquiring the Lodge, the vision came alive in his mind… The incredible potential to recreate one of his favorite musical venues/experiences (Daryl’s House) Daryl Hall, from the international famed Hall and Oats Band, turned his lodge in upstate NY into a music venue where he would bring in special guests and perform private exclusive concerts for his neighbors, family and friends…
When he saw the captivating great room of the lodge with it’s majestic 20′ two sided stone fireplace, Leon saw the vision of building a performing stage and private intimate music venue, so he rolled up his sleeves and went to work. After fully restoring the lodge, while simultaneously enrolling in the two year Science of Wine Making Enology Degree Program at the renown Yavapai College Southwest Wine Center, two of his passions came together as one. Bringing great music to the amazing wine of the Verde Valley AVA and The Acoustic Cellars Lodge was born!
The lodge is now home to the Acoustic Cellars Concert Series which includes exclusive house concerts (seating is limited to 40 to ensure a very intimate showcase) supporting regional and international artists once a month in addition to Leon’s music weekly. And he plays his National Steel Resonator or his road warrior’d Taylor 814 and perform a private show for our guests as they relax and taste some of his wine making prowess as well as other featured wine makers who sponsor the Lodge shows. Shows are truly something you do not want to miss!
For those that are new to the area and want to really relax and enjoy the sites, the AZ Wine Crawler Tour starts and finishes at the lodge… We will transport and share history of all of the best wineries and tasting rooms, so you can responsibly enjoy the amazing wines; leave the driving to us.

Why is it called Acoustic Cellars?
Leon Morton is a successful entrepreneur, author, and Heritage Blues Hall of Fame artist. Leon has been recently recognized by the prestigious Marquis Who's Who in America 2023-24 and the Who’s Who in American Business and Executives 2013 for his pioneering business concept in the health and wellness vertical. As a Consultant, Leon was an early pioneer in the integrated mind body and peak performance success psychology field working with the Detroit Lions NFL team, Superbowl champion players, and high-performing executives and athletes nationwide. He has authored two books and also coauthored Success is a State of Mind with Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen and Deepak Chopra. Leon lives his passions and has combined his diverse experience and success in music, personal growth, and business acumen, into the offerings at the Acoustic Cellars Lodge, and is dedicated to creating an exceptional guest experience. Dawn Morton, an AZ native, is a Deans List ASU graduate. After 23 years as an executive for a Fortune 100 company in the Valley, Dawn has taken early retirement, bringing her extensive experience and success into the fold, joining Leon to help facilitate the Lodge retreat offerings, as well as the BeliefHack Brainery peak performance curriculum. Dawn’s extensive background in customer satisfaction, operations, marketing, leadership, and business process improvement, provides unique insight for her clients' success. Dawn holds Project Management Professional, Lean Processing and Six Sigma Black Belt business process streamlining certifications and is the founder of Holistic Consultants Company. Dawn is a business and community leader as she served on the Board of Advisors of the Salvation Army and Benevilla senior and community services. Dawn has been helping with the lodge for two and a half years.
